 Kubunina Program

Kubunina is a social humanitarian program undertaken by the veterinary and agronomist association, AVEC-PVS, with the support of the PMI – Northern Italy Chapter. The program seeks to improve childhood conditions in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), one of the world’s poorest states, and in Italy through the dissemination of project management methodologies, thereby helping to spread PMIEF’s mission of project management for social good.

The program has a twofold objective: to improve the education of children and youth in the Congolese schools involved and to promote the teaching both in Italy and in Congo of the PM principles useful for their daily lives. All of this while promoting principles of solidarity and respect for others, thanks to Sister Schools program.

The Specific objectives are:

1.To create income-generating activities like school gardens, apiaries and the production of soap.

2.To promote free access to culture thanks to the creation of libraries.

3.To teach children and youth project management tools in the schools of
Congo and Italy.
